The studies powering our playful, innovative learning programs

In our Head Start classrooms study, students who played HOMER for 15 minutes a day showed a 74% increase in early reading scores, including significant gains in learning letter sounds, understanding how to use books, and recognizing the sounds that make up words.

Our 2024 impact study found that Little Passports World Edition Kits help kids build geographical knowledge, cultural curiosity, and problem-solving skills. After playing with the kits, kids showed improved creativity, understanding of world cultures, and appreciation for global citizenship.

Studies across multiple settings showed that kids make significant improvements in problem-solving, sequencing, and navigation tasks after just 90 minutes of playing codeSpark. Our accessible, game-based approach also helped educators easily integrate computer science into classroom curricula.

In our 2024 effectiveness study, using Learn with Sesame Street improved preschoolers’ ability to understand, express, and regulate their emotions. Kids also began using emotional regulation strategies from the program and talked about emotions more frequently and deeply.
